I have installed the Sample, Man, Client , Java RPM's too just to be full fledged. I have installed all the above RPMs after installing the RunTime, SDK and Server RPMs for Websphere MQ 5.3 on Linux 3.x
Is that fine, just watned to ensure it works well without any problems.
Any thing else i need to do after running the sample programs, is it good to go for development...??
Please advise. |

I was going through some posts in this site and was wondering if i need to set any properties before i create any QM as default.
I have run the RPMs, should i also run the CSD07 (if so what do i need to run from the CSD).
Anyone please advise. |

You should apply the CSD. It will update all the packages you have installed.

Should i also do a
"chown -R mqm:mqm /opt/mqm" since already the user 'mqm' and group 'mqm' exist on the box. Is the above command right? |
