hi ,
i am trying to know about name service and configure it.
while i am running the dcesetsv.bat file in the samples
provided by the WMQ,it is asking for the mqm's and
cell_admin's password.what these password actually
mean?what i have to give?what is this cell admin? |

It's asking for the mqm's users password and the DCE Cell_Admin password.
The DCE Cell_Admin is the highest ranking user in a DCE Cell.

And if you don't know what the DCE Cell_Admin's password is, or what DCE Cell you are in...
Ask your System Administrator!

hi,
thanks for the reply. while i am configuring my queue scope property to CELL ,it is showing "Cell directory is not available.The Scope attribute of the queue was set to MQSCO_CELL but not name service supporting a cell directory has been configured".what does it mean? where can i find some detail information of name service ? |
