Why does vmandila have authority in the first place? Is it in a group that does have authority? What group is it in?

Run the dspmqaut commands for vmandila and show us.

You should run your MQ authority commands against groups, and not individual users, to prevent these kind of messes.

Place -p
setmqaut -m qmgr -t queue -n q1 -p vmandila -put -get

- is to revoke the rights to user . I hope you are doing.

setmqaut -m QMGR -t qmgr -p username +all mqi

First of All +allmqi is a single option and cannot be separated as +all mqi

Secondly +allmqi cannot be used on a type QueueManager and is used mainly on Queues

Pls. Correct the SetMqaut command.

That's odd

Code:

# groups testusr
audit
# set setmqaut -m QMGR -t qmgr -p username +all mqi
The setmqaut command completed successfully.
# dspmqaut -m QMGR -t qmgr -p testusr
Entity testusr has the following authorizations for object QMGR:
     inq
     set
     connect
     altusr
     dlt
     chg
     dsp
     setid
     setall

First of all it worked for me. Secondly it worked for me.
