Interesting response. I think we would be stupid not to be fearful ("scared") if we are the target. There is such a thing as heathy fear. I would prefer to keep it in that arena. That's all. |

Indeed. We are the Target. In fact everyone who is not a Muslim Fundamentalist Extremist is indeed a Target. If you are not a Muslim Fundamentalist Extremist you are a less than human infidel.
But I dissagree with you catwood2. We should not be fearful or sacred. We should be cautious, brave and vigilant.
I live in Arizona and in Arizona we have a law that allows it's citizens to carry a concealed (firearm) weapon after having taken a class, passed a written test and a Range Test that proves you can hit the red side of a barn. Individuals who take and pass the class and tests are fingerprinted by the state and issued a permit.
Once a liberal asked me, what are you afraid of. Why are you so scared all the time that you feel the need to carry a gun.
My response was, knowing what you know, why don't you carry a gun? Do you watch the news? Did you read about or hear the news story about the lady who was stabbed to death by a Meth Freak with a Screw Driver, while she was walking from her car to the front door of the place she worked yesterday?
But then, I digress. I am not affraid. I am not scared.
I am aware of the threat and I have done my best to prepare myself. Fear of terrorism did not influence my vote. Awareness of terrorism and the way in which candidate would respond to the thread did.
