Hello!
Does anybody use Workflow v 3.5 and Tomcat 5.0 for
WebClient configuration???
I created a runtime database with webclient config,
and then created a new context in Tomcat administrator
which points to the
<workflow>/cfgs/<config>/WebClient/webpages directory.
Also copied the fmcohcli.jar and fmcojagt.jar jars under the <workflow>/cfgs/<config>/WebClient/webpages/WEB-INF/lib
folder.
But when I try to open the web client RTC.html, Tomcat throws
an exception.
---------
javax.servlet.ServletException
org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:254)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:802)
root cause
java.lang.ThreadDeath
org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1226)
org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1186).....
....
---------
With the Workflow 3.3 version we used Tomcat 4.0.3
and, as far as I remember, there was also a guide to
setup the WebClient with the use of Tomcat.
Now, I haven't found any information among the WF 3.5
documentations, so is it still possible to use Tomcat 5.0
as a servlet container, or it is not supportet any more?
Or what else should I copy/set to solve the above
exceptions?
By the way, we use Java SE v1.4.2_05 JRE.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

I had problems with Tomcat 5 that I could not resolve, so I went back to Tomcat 4. Works great. |

Hi!
In Tomcat 5.5.0 there's a bug which caused the logon problem. It's solved in v. 5.5.1 but there's still another exception while the web client tries to
generate the listview page.
So, I also went back to Tomcat 4.1.3 which seems to be fine now.
Thanks,
Robert |
