Guys,

I need ur help in implementing message routing using VB. I am new to development of MQ. Though I can do it by using MQSI, because of some issues in our company, I have to do it with VB only. I am in a situation that I need to move all the messages in a queue to another queue that is residing on another Queue manager. We are using WebSphere MQ 5.3 on windows 2000 sever with CSD 07. If anybody can provide some information on how to do this, that will be Great.

Thanks alot.,

So, you need to connect to two separate queue managers, open two queues, get messages from one queue and put messages to another?

Have you looked at the visual basic samples that come with MQSeries? I think those are a good place to start.

And you should read the documentation.

Jeff,

do you have any documentation that I can go through. Because I really dont have any documentation on VB. If you provide me some that would be great. and I dont have an idea how to connect to remote queue manager using sender reciever channel.

Thanks,

You already have documentation.

The button labeled "documentation" will take you to the IBM documentation.

The manuals you should look at are the same manuals that everyone else keeps referencing here, whenever a new person comes in and starts asking very basic questions.

In your case, you want to look at the Application Programming Guide.

For Visual Basic specific questions, you need to look at the manual called "Using the Component Object Model Interface".

And, again, you should look at the VB samples that are supplied with MQSeries.
