Hi, I'm a newbie on MQSeries.
I want to build a simple aplication that use MQSeries in AS400. Each user that use the aplication need to be authenticated first to AS400. If they are valid, they can put or get to queue. My question is how can i validate their login? I currently use Java as programming language but maybe it will be change using VB.
Thx in adv.
Regards,

If you need userid/password validation you have to use some kind of security exit.
If you can rely on SSL, the issue a certificate to all users, and trust the security system on the client machines togeter with the secirity of SSL.
Take a look on the WebSphere MQ security guide.
You could also place the authentication in the application itself.
Just my $0.02 _________________ Regards, Jørgen
