Hi

We are running a Java MQ client. Message of size 4Mb cannot be put. Error code 2031. I scoured this site for hints on kernel settings in /etc/system and created the queue manager with settings :
- lf 16384
-lp 20
-ls 20

Also the attribute MAXMSGL for the target queue and the server-connection-channel were set to 104857600.

Any suggestions ? Please state in your response whether you've actually put a message of 4Mb or higher on a queue using a client. Thanks.

Have you altered the QMgr MAXMSGL as well as the queue one?

FWIW The java Channel, I believe, is ok as it negotiates a max 100Mb message size.
