Is there a way to put a BROKER name or some other unique identifier dynamically, in a trace file name so it will make the log files unique.
reason why ?
We have all three DV, QA, & TR environments running on the same UNIX box, and the log file names are the same obviously from one env to another. I really do not want to manually change the log file names in the trace nodes when deploying from one env to another.
Any thoughts ?
You could use the GetEnvironment plugin to put more information about the runtime environment into the available trees, and then use the trace pattern to put some specific piece of information into the trace file.
But you won't be able to dynamically name the trace file. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
In WBIMB v5 you can modify the trace file path in the bar file.
This means that you can change the path each time you deploy the message flow without changing the flow itself.
Not quite as dynamic as you required but an improvement.
