I am trying to complete student exercise 11 from the MQ660 class and am having some challenges.
The exercise creates a message flow with an input node, a failure output node, a compute node to set character data to upper case, a subsequent compute node to take the message and output it three times. The first time as xml, the second as tagged delimited and the third as CWF.
I have followed the steps, created the MRM and message flow but keep failing on the input node. I have not configured anything in this node since there is no reference to this in the lab. I also am creating my own input data since I do not have a copy of this from the class.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what I might check to get through this lab?
Any feedback is appreciated,

You'd probably have better luck in the WMQI Support forum. My guess would be that the lab expects an RFH2 header on the message which indicates the type of message which is why there are no instructions on setting parameters on the MQINPUT node.
What kind of error are you getting? |

Maybe I should move this message to the WMQI support area. Thanks for the suggestion.
Right now no error message but the input message never makes it to the first compute node. According to the debugger, it goes directly to the failure queue. I think this would mean that either the input node needs to be configured or there is something wrong with the input data. What does not make sense to me is that if I create a simple flow (input node to output node) and create the input data the same way, it moves through without a problem. I do not see how this is different since the input node itself does not reference the MRM.
confused,
