Hi
We all know that there is a SAVEQMGR facility, but this utility does save the SETMQAUT settings.
Does anybody of a tool which will save the SETMQAUT settings on an NT platform running MQ5.3.
Thanks |

Hi,
Unfortunately support pack MS68 does not run on NT.
Does anyone know of a SAVE MQ AUTH for MQ 5.3 on NT, W2K or XP.
Thanks in advance |

Use the 'hidden' amqoamd command with the option -s. You can get an output with a lot of setmqaut commands.
We are using it in this format:
Code: |
amqoamd -m <qmgr> -s | grep -v "-g mqm" | grep -v "+None" |
because default or revoked auth info is unnecessary.

PS: sorry about grep, but we are using unix commands on Win32 platform, that's why I don't know the standard way to realize it ... |
