The V1 of MQSI was a 'rebranded' copy of the NEON integrator.
For V2, and up, the NEON functionality is provided via Nodes.
It's basically another MRM. It allows you to specify how to parse, and/or build messages. (OK, OK, it does other things as well, but this is the 'simplified' version )
Unless you have a message format that cannot be handled via the MRM, then I wouldn't bother with it.

In order to use NEON in V2, you need to have a flow with at least one of the NEON nodes. Starting from V2.02, IBM introduced NEONMSG, the new version of NEON. Therefore there are 4 NEON node in total.
Once your flow is up and the NEON objects are imported to NEON db, you need to specify the message domain as either NEON or NEONMSG in the input Node.
If you do not have performance concerns, use MRM instead of NEON. |
