Hi All,
I have the MQ 7.1.0 server. And Datastage MQ connctoer (running on MQ CLient 7.5) to be used as subscirber.
I have 2 durable subscribers created for 2 topics. TOPIC1 & TOPIC2.
Both the subscribers has unique subscription name.
And have single durable subscription queue for both the subscribers.
When We published message on single topic , subscribers are able to consume the messages.
But when any message published on both the topics, both the mesasges get consumed by subscbcriber with topic string, TOPIC2 only. And no message is coming to the subsciber with topic string TOPIC1.
Anyboday faced this kind of issue ? and how it gor resolved ?

What does it mean, "published on both topics"?

Hi Mqjeff,
Sorry, there is typo in my orignal post. Below is the case:
On application side there are 2 file locations :
File1 : to write mesasge recevied on TOPIC1
File2 : to write mesasge recevied on TOPIC1
TOPIC1 test:=
After doing setup , when I triggerd message on TOPIC1 , its not receivng in the applciaiton in FILE1 also in FILE2.
After put in the 2nd try , its recieving by the application but in FILE2.
The same things happens,alternatively one by one.
TOPIC2 Test :=
When triggered 1st message its got written in FILE2, as expected.
For the 2nd message, its not getting written in FILE1 or FILE2.
But from MQ side , when I was checked the subscription status for TOPIC1 & TOPIC2 , it was updating properly.
Also the status of Durable Subsciber queue. Its updating properly.
Note: Single durable queue has been configured for both the subscriptions. |

Ok, so it sounds like you need to debug your application.
But you still didn't answer the question - what does it mean to publish a message on two topics? |
