Hi , recently I have created a cluster with 2 queue managers and added to the full repository. Now I have deleted the queue managers from the MQ explorer without removing them from the cluster. Now when I am trying to delete the cluster it is not working. I have even recreated the queue managers with same names even then I was unable to do anything.
So can anyone please solve my problem !!!
FYI:I am using MQ version 7.0 |

You should have deleted the qmgrs from the cluster before deleting them. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

You can use RESET CLUSTER with the QMID of the QMGR you no longer want in the cluster from the full repos. |

Yes, that wouldn't have helped. Re-reading the cluster documentation where it talks about queue manager identity within the clister will tell you why.
(Hint - the previous poster is talking about a QMID not a name) _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

You can keep the new queue manager with the same name,
If you log onto a Repos and do DIS CLUSQMGR(QMGRNAME) QMID, you will probably now see two entries for the same QMGR but with differen tQMIDS
Use RESET Cluster QMID to remove the old one
Refresh Cluster will get it going again.
Then if you do not want the new one, you cna follow the manual in removing qmgrs from the cluster. |
