Is that possible to Grant "+dsp" access to "EVERY GROUP" present on the Server.
EG:
setmqaut -m <Qmgr> -t qmgr -g <GroupId> +dsp
Where GroupId -> can be **? (All Groups in the servers)
Like we give Auths for a ** Objects at a single Stroke.
Please let me know. |

Have you tried it? What were the results?
What does the official IBM documentation tell you about the setmqaut control command? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

The above not a very good design choice, IMHO, as it is too "open". And the answer is no, you cannot do this with a single command. You would have to run one setmqaut command per group on your system, varying <GroupId> in your example above. |

What is your requirement for doing this?
You could grant authorities to a group that every required userid is a member. eg. the staff group. But I would never recommend doing this! _________________ Glenn |
