Hi
I am trying to set-up deployment scripts on Linux for our WMB Environment.
I have set-up MB runtime and patched upto FP5.
MQ Version is 7019 , And WMB Toolkit V7
When I try to invoke Eclipse with headless option - I get the following error
java.lang.RuntimeException: Application "org.eclipse.cdt.managedbuilder.core.headlessbuild" could not be found in the registry. The applications available are: com.ibm.adapter.j2c.command.BatchImport, com.ibm.etools.ejbdeploy.batch_extension, com.ibm.etools.ejbdeploy.EJBDeployTest, com.ibm.etools.j2ee.ant.RunAnt, com.ibm.etools.mft.bar.cmdline.mqsicreatebar, com.ibm.etools.mft.bar.cmdline.mqsireadbar, com.ibm.etools.mft.bar.cmdline.mqsiapplybaroverride, com.ibm.etools.mft.mapping.migration.mqsimigratemfmaps, com.ibm.etools.msg.importer.cmdline.ImporterHeadlessOperation, com.ibm.etools.msg.importer.cmdline.wsdl.WSDLImporterHeadlessOperation, com.ibm.etools.msg.mrp.importer.MSDFromMRPHeadlessOperation, com.ibm.etools.rdbschemagen.bvt, com.ibm.etools.sqlmodel.bvt, com.ibm.etools.sql ....etc.
I can not check the Eclipse version either - that gives another another
leTableLock (No such file or directory)

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/XXXXX/.eclipse/ibm.websphere.message.broker.toolkit_7.5.0_1248752553/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/.manager/.fileTableLock (No such file or directory)
at java.io.RandomAccessFile.open(Native Method)
at java.io.RandomAccessFile.<init>(Unknown Source)
Any idea what could be the issue here? |

Did you patch Toolkit to some specific fixpack?
does mqsicreatebar work? |

WMB Toolkit version is 7.0 - I have not patched it to any FP.
mqsicreatebar command works fine when invoked through X-Windows but the command line does not.
Neither I am able to check Eclipse Version to see if any plugins are required. |

Apply FP to toolkit - if you need the toolkit installed - you need the fixpack on it - that's just logic. |

mqsicreatebar runs toolkit in headless mode.
It's definitely the right thing to do to apply the Toolkit fixpacks, and any ifixes, so that it's at the same level as the rest of your development environment.
Outside of mqsicreatebar, it's not entirely otherwise clear why you are trying to run Toolkit in headless mode. I'm not saying or implying that you shouldn't be doing it, I'm just not sure I see why you are doing it.
Can you show the command you are using to run toolkit in headless mode? |
