Hi, Can you please tell me how much is the salary in India (Chennai or Bangalore) for WMQ/QMB with 10 yrs experiance ? How much Can i ask?
Actually I am a .NET developer with 10 years experiance at USA. I am planning to learn WMQ and WMB and apply in India with 10 years of experiance in WMQ/QMB. Do you think it is a risk? Please help.

You might want to search google for this kind of information - something like 'computer jobs in india+websphere mq'.
You may need to contact a placement agency that specializes in MQ/MB in India.
Is there a risk? Benefits arise from taking risks; but there is no guarantee.

I must be reading this incorrectly! It reads as though you have 10 years of .NET programming experience, but you intend to learn MQ/WMB and then market yourself as though you've been working in MQ/WMB for ten years?
Surely I am reading this incorrectly! Because if that is what you really meant, it is an enormous risk. No amount of study can raise a fresher to a 10-year MQ/WMB experience level.
Please forgive my misinterpretation, and do clarify your meaning. Thanks! |

Someone with ten years of MQ experience as an admin can pull down around half million rupees per year. An MQ admin in India is worth about sixty percent as much as a senior Project Manager.
