You can use MBX to manage both V7 and V8 brokers. I'll get the docs changed.

Where do I look for supported WTX version for WMB 8.0 on z/OS ?

Yes, I am aware of discussions in this forum, advising to go with WMB 8.0 than tag along with WTX. But, we are a WMB+WTX shop and I do not influence the powers-that-be.
