And, do this command: dis chl(*) type(clntconn) and post the results here. This command will display the channels that populate the CCDT.

Also, do this command: dis qmgr and post the results here.

If you edit or change the results you post here, please state that you have done so. We presume that you post the exact results, unless you state otherwise.

bruce as u asked for i am posting the result of command dis chl(*) type (clntconn)

the result is as followes

i have changed the channel name for not disclosing the company information


mvic : please do not get confused i had made some changes in the result and couldn't made them properly.
i will re post the result of dis chs(*) properly
and i will also post the result of dis channel(*)

then may be we can get a better picture

exerc: the version of MQ is 5.3 on solaris

I wanted to know that how is such configuration obtained.



and is this single server connection channel used by 3 diff client boxes if yes . what can be the possible configuration for this?

and how can i recreated this configuration in version 7 MQ

By defining SVRCONN channel(s), and allowing client apps to connect to/through the SVRCONN channel.

I am a bit baffled by the purpose.
It seems here that we have 3 boxes or more using a single channel.
I sure hope it is a distributed application with 1 instance on each box and not 3 different applications.
Each application should have its own SVRCONN channel (best practice)
