Hi,
We had software MQClient capacity unit(it is $1755.00).My company took licences for 50 stores (50 * 1755.00).I think it is mqclient software. Is it cost that much?or is it free if we have server software.please correct it if any thing else.
thanks,

Venkat,
MQ clients are free of charge, you can download them from the web. To run a MQSeries server, you will need at least 2 capacity units (unless IBM has changed the pricing). With 2 CU's, for example, you can run MQ on a INTEL CPU with 1 or 2 processors. RISC machines need at least 4 CU's. That's how it was a year ago. Please verify with your IBM rep.
Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
I got some idea.Right now we have
MQ For AS/400 Base units-2,
MQSI for NT Capacity Units-4,
and MQClient Capacity Units.
I think this mqclient Units may be for AS/400.Do you have any idea on AS/400?please let me know.
Thanks,
Venkat
