And what did the system administrator who built your PC have to say about that error? Specifically with reference to any network software configurations on it?
Just because you've got 2 queue managers physically on the same machine they're still using TCP/IP to communicate. And something in the TCP/IP layer is going wrong. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

My bestest mate in the whole wide world (Mr. Google) told me this:
Mr. Google wrote: |
10054
WSAECONNRESET -- Connection reset by peer. This occurs when an established connection is shut down for some reason by the remote computer. |
Try pinging the loop-back address (127.0.0.1) and see what happens. If you get successful loop-back then check that the listener you think is running against QM2 is actually running against QM2 and not against QM1. If you get the same 10054 result, then do as my venerable master suggests.
Vitor, please note that venerable is applied here in terms of sagacity, not age! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Potentially? You've got a TCP/IP error saying the connections failing and you're going with "potentially"? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
