Hi,
I did MQ upgrade(from 5.2 to 7.0.1.3) and keep getting error message(MQRC_NOT_CONNECTED) from Application.
Qmgr is runnning and I also restarted qmgr.
kindly help stupid me.. |

Thank for the concern.
it's a client application and i found the error in the application logs.
since i dont have any source codes of the app, the MQRC message is only clue i have.
is there any chance to happen this kind of thing after MQ version-up??

By 'client application', do you mean it connects via WMQ Client? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Given that you seem to have gone all the way from v5.2 to v7 in a single bound possibly. I'm sure you followed all the migration steps, including the changes to listener configuration?
More importantly, you say you don't have the source code so I'm assuming that what you're running is still linked with the v5.2 client libraries? That's not going to be going to be doing you any favours. Using the v5.3 client libs would be questionable, but v5.2? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
