Hi,

I am trying to call a servlet from a HTTPRequest Node,

My code look like this.

SET OutputLocalEnvironment.Destination.HTTP.RequestLine.Method = 'GET';
SET OutputLocalEnvironment.Destination.HTTP.RequestURL= 'https://hostname:8443/servletpath/Servlet?parameter=<Cancel><Request>message</Request></Cancel>

But the message is not going fully....only partial messsage is going. Are there any limitation on the url length.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,
Suresh.

have you used tools such as HTTPwatch to verify that the URL is getting 'chopped'
Have you put a trace node before the HTTP node and looked everything that is in the LocalEnvironment folder?

If the URL is indeed getting chopped and the full URL is there in the trace then you might consider raising A PMR.

Using the HTTP Sample flows as a basis for your tests is a good way to get to the bottom of problems like tihs.

Hi ,

I dont have much knowledge about the HTTPWatch tool. Could you please elaborate...??

I have checked the url in the localenvironment using a trace node. That looks fine. I am not sure where it is getting chopped.

Is there any possibility that the url exceeds the max chars with my input message and gets chopped...??

Or is it getting chopped on the way to the servlet.

Please give me some pointers.... as to how to get to the root of the problem.

Why don't you download the free version of HTTPwatch...
This will let you see what is coming out of the HTTP Node.
http://www.httpwatch.com/

This tool along with others such as rfHutil, XMLSpy etc are really essential for working with products like Broker.
