Hi,
As a part of this, we need to migrate from MB5.0 to MB 6.1.0.3. This is on an AIX version 6.0
For this we have received 1 server with three logical partitions for Dev, Test and Staging with 3 different IPs. After completing the Dev build when we see the test environment, we are able to see all the dev folder’s configurations etc on Test as well. For all 3 environments, on an application perspective, we should have the same DB names and DSN names. But as it’s a common server, we are unable to create same DB/DSN names for all three partitions.
We have only one installation of MQ / MB and DB2 and wish to have a separate folder structure for 3 environments where we can create databases and application code corresponding to the 3 environments. Please let us know if this is achievable ?
If so, what needs to be done and if not, what can be an alternative ?
Can anyone please help? Thanks. |

You may have problems migrating mappings nodes, use fixpack level 6.1.05 (or 07) to avoid this and other such problems (in my view). |
