OK, getting near the end of the month. In summary we have:
1) A Health checker for clusters and individual queue managers
2) A penetration test to find weaknesses and report to (hopefully only ) the administrator
3) A flexible queue-depth threshold monitor, that could be configured, for example, to be active at certain times of the day, or if the threshold has been breached for a certain number of minutes
There's still time to add your ideas in, to come up with the truly original, off-the-wall never thought of before (or since) - and win yourself a wonderful MQ mug!
regards
Challenger

i want a way to know weather messages have traversed across my queue.. and when was the last message dropped in or picked from my queue
I want to get all triggering details displayed collectively for a QM. (cant afford to go to each queue and check the missing links if any)
I want the ability to connect to all queue managers irrespective to their CCSID and encoding at once...
Also the url shall be able to display multiple MQ nodes QM details at one go... sometimes all i need to do is compare and find the missing one (saveqmgr comparison asks a little more effort)
Can it display the MQ Clients currently connected to my QM/MQ
how about displaying the possible QM routes graphically.. (ability to understand QM Alias)
Am i asking for too much _________________ Cheers |

Not at all, considering MO71 does most of that already. _________________ Peter Potkay

I want to know when that barely used cluster queue's subscription is going to expire so I can stop it from happening. I can see the information by going into amqrfdm, but I would like some kind of alert before it happens. |

Ok, end of the month, and the winner is (opens envelope)...Challenger, for the reset channel sequence number utility!
What, sorry, I can't give it to myself? Oh, all right then....
In points for suggestions AkankshA comes out on top (albeit some of them already incorporated in MO71 ) - including a very handy client connection channel MCAUSER checker.
I would like also to declare a joint winner of meaton78, a late entry and just under the wire - with a not often thought about feature and a practical suggestion that actually looks quite useful.
So, congratulations, AkankshA and meaton78! All kudos to you both! And thanks to all who participated!
