I need to create an MQ interface between 2 application A and B.
Was able to configure the connection between MQ and B using a specific port number.
But was not able to configure the connection between A and the MQ with that same port number. The reason being I''m not able to create the sender channel on the application A using that same port number.
1. What, precisely, do you mean by: 'I need to create an MQ interface between 2 application A and B.' ?
2. Does: 'Was able to configure the connection between MQ and B using a specific port number.', mean the application is connecting to the queue manager via WMQ Client?
A better description of the topology would better help us to help you. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.

Upgrade. It's not your problem but you're on an unsupported version.
You could also profit from a quick scan through the Intercommunication manual, which describes this sort of set up. With pictures. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
