Do you mean the ASCII value of a character, or the numeric code of the alphabet in use?

My requirement is i have a 5 digit code say ABCDE .I am looking for this code in the database .If it exists then i had to increase the code as ABCDF
(increase the last digit ),so for this i want to get the ASCII value of the particular alphabet and increase the ascii value.. |

This function exists in many programming languages, including at least some of the ones that are supported in Message Broker.
What language are you using?
Usually, the list of functions available in a programming language are listed in the documentation for that language.
Did you look there? |
