Here is the situation.
I have MQ Client installed.
I connect to a remote queuemanager from a dos box:
set MQSERVER=SERVER.CHANNEL1/TCP/server_address(port)
set GMQ_MQ_LIB= (path where mqic32.dll is)
-putting a message on a queue with amqsputc works fine
-putting/reading files with rfhutilc works fine
When I try to connect with a VBA program, using QAX200 I get error MQRC_LIBRARY_LOAD_ERROR.
(The code is OK, it works perfectly in another environment)
Anyone has some ideas?

Yes, the ActiveX control has been depreciated for some time now. I've seen a situation on a previous site where a VB app using it worked fine on v5.3 but blew on v6.
I suspect something similar here. What are the WMQ versions on the working / not working machines.

Thanks for your reply. However, I hope you are wrong.
First, I got the error "queuemanager not found"
After that (I believe) my mq client installation got corrupted.
Then, I found out that I have to set the path.
Now I get the MQRC_LIBRARY_LOAD_ERROR.
So now I hope when my mq client will be reinstalled, I have it up and running. |

I'm not wrong about the ActiveX, nor am I wrong about the situation I described. It wasn't the error you have I'll admit, but the executable worked a treat on a v5.3 queue manager, and blew with (IIRC) a memory exception on a v6 queue manager.

Well I wish you good fortune with it. IMHO it's still a good idea to consider using a more current VB solution next time you have the application up for change.
