Hi MQSI folk,
I am running into input messages queue up to level(640000) and
performance become very slow once large number of messages in the
input queues. I do deploy the flow to multple execution group. It is queues
up. I just wonder if I could distribute messages from one input queue and
distribute the messages evenly to ten out queues and process from there.
How can I archieve that? If there is any other solutions,Please share with
me.
I am running into situations a lot of messages queues up(1000000 messages) and databases update node have hard time to drain the
input queues.
Thanks in advances for any ideas!

Here are a couple of possibilities.
If you are using 2.1, look into using Reference Pointers to tighten up the code and improve performance, especially if the hierarchy of the messages is very deep.
At the risk of sounding like a salesman, you can always throw hardware at the problem if you have deep pockets.
Hope that helps......or inspires others with better ideas. |

In addition to waht wmqiguy said .. You could make use set destinationList to set different output queues based on some logic. I would avoid doing any database updates/inserts within message flows when dealing with high volume. _________________ Kiran
