Anybody had problems getting the input message as a mail attachment when the flow starts with HTTPInput. I have no problems attaching the message from an MQInput, so I'm familiar with all the node/message settings ( but obviously not all of them, or I wouldn't be writing this). I'm using version 6.0.
I've got rid of the HTTPInputHeader and set up the MQMD, but there must be something I'm missing. |

If you want to send any value as a attachment you should use CDATA. |

Hi
I am facing the problem when i am using sendmail plugin ,the error code is 554 as relay access denied
As the login of the broker is different from that of SMPT server access of the mail box |

As you can get it to work with an MQInput then you are half way there.
Put a trace node before the sendmail node and examine ${Root}, ${Environment} & ${LocalEnvironment} carefully.
Then make the data from the HTTP source the same.
When I was using the sendmail node, I started off with the sample flow. This gave me all the data I needed to use it in my flows.
Slightly off topic,
I found using the V6.1 EmailOutput node very easy. Also the sample flow supplied with broker uses HTTP input and you can optionally add an attachment.... Seems to fit your requirement perfectly. But, don't confuse the SendMail Support pack node features with those used in the EmailOutput node. They can give you the same functionality but how you setup the nodes is very different _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Thanks smdavies99. I'd previously done all the trace node comparisons etc, but still wasn't getting consistent results.
I now have a flow that has 2 inputs ( one MQ, one HTTP ), followed by compute nodes then the sendmail.
If I start the flow with the MQ node, all works perfectly.
I then start it from the HTTP node, all works perfectly.
Wonderful, problem solved, but.....
Start if again from HTTP, no attachment
Start it again from MQ, perfect,
Start if again from HTTP, perfect,
Start it again from MQ, perfect,
Start if again from HTTP, perfect,
Start if again from HTTP, no attachment
Start if again from HTTP, no attachment.
very frustrating !!!! |
