We are using v6.0 client and connecting to remotely hosted queues using the .net API.
We've been able to send and receive messages no problem - so the connectivity aspect looks healthy.
Our problem is that we are expected to set the ApplicationIdData property of the MQMessage object for messages we put on the queue. We set the open options to MQC.MQPMO_SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT but the data we send in the ApplicationIdData property continues to get blanked out.
I've read that there may be an issue with the user that is creating the messages not having adequate privileges. Since we don't host MQ on our side, I am assuming this privilege level would have to be set with our host.
Is there anything that we are missing?
Thanks,
Matt Childs

Nope - proper level of authorisation is the next thing to check. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi,
Did you also set MQOO_SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT on the MQOPEN?
