I am using WBIMB 5.
I did both mqsireload, and a flow start and stop, and could not change the alias queue.
I then did “ alter qa….. FORCE” and the alias queue changed but the flow still had a handle on the queue, even after repeating the above steps.
Further, the flow routed to the previous queue as opposed to the updated queue.
What APAR refers to this bug? |

This is working as designed in WB-IMB 5.0, although I'm surprised that after forcing the change on the q and subsequently mqsireloading the execution group it was still pointing at the old destination.
You're only other option is to redeploy the flow(s) after making the q change. Or bounce the broker.
This is fixed in WMB 6.0. In that version a stop of the flow actually stops the flow AND releases the queues, where as in WB-IMB 5.0 "stop flow" was more like pause, as all it does is stop the MQGET loop while leaving the queues open (and locked). _________________ Peter Potkay

Thanks for the info!
Is there documentation on the web for the internal workings of start and stop on flows or exec groups? |
