Hi,
I've upgraded my Windows 5.3 MQ to version 6.0. At 5.3 I had 1 queue manager and several local queues and channels. Upgrade went OK, no errors but when I go into the new Eclipse based MQ Explorer I can see the queue manager, and access its properties, but there are no sub-folder views for Queues, Channels etc. Even if I create a new Queue manager from scratch I do not see the queues in the Navigator view. Thing is, my Java applications can still connect to the MQ queues so they are up and running but I just can't view them in MQ Explorer!!
I applied the 6.0.2.1 and then 6.0.2.2 fix packs and neither helped and I also tried setting the AMQ_MIGFORCE_SERVICE variable to true and restarted the QM (as noted here http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg1IC48880) but that did nothing.
If I install MQ 6.0 on another PC from scratch then it works fine and I can see the QM so I can only think there is a step in the upgrade I have missed.
Has anyone else experienced this and found a workaround/solution?
Thanks

Just some additional things...
This is Windows XP SP2.
Tried strmqm -c QM_NAME
Tried strmqcfg -i then strmqcfg -c
Still no queue's visible |

Gayathri, you truly are a master of MQ!!
The java\lib folder was missing from the classpath (I presume the installer fails to update this as I didn't change it).
Thank you for a quick and helpful response, I really appreciate it! |
