Dear all,

I have WMQ 6 installed (on Linux) and some Queues are configured and working well.

I need to fin some solution that allows me to Log each message entering each of my queues. Is there an integrated tool/trigger that can do the trick ?

Or should I create an MQ Trigger that will execute an external Java program and the latter will log the message ?

Logging (in an ideal world) should be performed by the applications reading and writing to the queue.

You might want to look at the sample exit mirrorq. Be aware that exits are an advanced topic and a badly written exit can cause anything from performance problems to the queue manager crashing. Also be aware that the exit is a sample and not intended in it's current form to be production strength.

You'll find this exit and this question has been discussed many times. A search will turn up many times that may aid you.
