Hi there,

I'm trying to write a message into syslog through a Trace node using a user defined system catalog.

But I don't know how I can code an ESQL pattern in the Trace node when the catalog has multipl parameters.
(I completed it with just one parameter.)

Is there somebody who is familiar with this?

I don't know of any particular way to specify different inserts for a given message number. It seems like it might be possible, from the reference on the trace node in the Info Center. But there's nothing there at all for *how* to do so.

It's probably eaiser to use the LOG statement in ESQL or the MbService.log() in Java than it is to build a Trace node that specifies multiple inserts.

It will almost certainly perform better. Trace nodes are expensive.

Thank you very much, all.

I didn't know Trace node was expensive.
Anyway, I'll try to use Compute node with LOG statement in ESQL because I have been unable to find a way to code multiple paramteres in Trace node.

Thank you again for your useful and helpful information.

Cheers,
