Hi,
Do I need to bounce any ICS components (connector, agents, etc.) after updating a stored procedure on a backend database? Sometimes we got the request from development team to bounce components after updating sps, and I'm not sure if this is really necessary.

Hi
Hope you are not changing the stored procedure's name, which is being called from the connector.
Following could the reason why they are asking you to bounce.
1. Assume Adapter(connector) is running and you updated the stored procedure. in this case, you must have to bounce the connector. as it will be having the old SPS in its cache so it wont reflect the new changes.
It is better to stop the adapter(connector) and update the sps and restart it.
Thanks and Regards
