Hi,
1. Present setup:
The input message can be an XML message or a Cobol copybook from a mainframe app. If the message is coming from the mainframe, the message flow uses the messageset. The message format either XML or Mainframe can be selected via a URL. When the data entered and the format of the message will be selected by a radio button in the URL page. When we click on the SUBMIT button, the message will be sent to the broker 6.0 input queue. The broker transforms the message and will be sent to the websphere application server via JMS.
2. Action planned to take:
After the message transformation is done in compute node, we planned to take a copy of the converted output message by placing an MQOutput node.
3. Results:
i.) When the incoming message is XML, the output message is generated and sent to the websphere application server as well as the output node with which we planned to capture the message...which is a good thing.
ii.) If the incoming message is from Mainframe(Cobol copybook), the source application(URL) timing out when we have an additional output node to capture the output message inside the flow....With which the messages are not sent to the destination.
Could you guys share with me what actions I need to take to capture the output message after translation occurs in Compute node and before sending it to the Websphere application server via JMS in case if the message is from Mainframe.
Thanks.

Try using flow order node after compute node in which you are transforming incoming message...
not sure abt this but u can give it a try _________________ Thanks and Regards ,

there are many ways this can done...
one way..is send the copy the outgoing message directly to MQoutput queue and route the original message to your WAS(although i don't know how this is done..) _________________ Thimk |
