Hi,
I configured one queue (EMAIL) in WAS6.1 & MQ 6.0 on windows 2003 server. but, i got error like : MQJMS2008 - failed to open MQ queue EMAIL.
can any one please let me know how to exactly configure the q managers and queue in MQ 6.0.

Exactly how the documentation describes. 
If you print out the linked exception, this will contain the MQ reason code, which will identify more precisly what's wrong. It may not actually be a problem with the configuration, but the environment / security / network / etc / etc / ...
