There isn't a new version for WMQ 6.0. What kinds of problems are you having? |

Mirrorq is a sample program.
The original author no longer supports it, and I do not believe anyone else has taken it over.
If you are having trouble working with it in MQ v6, you are probably having issues because you do not have a 64bit compiled version and MQ v6 is 64bit only on most platforms.
If you are running on a 64bit platform, then you will need to recompile this sample program to be a 64-bit exit.
You should also reconsider using a sample program as part of your enterprise infrastructure - particularly for production purposes. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Yes, MQ v6 on Windows is 32-bit only. Right now.

Using the V6 eclipse explorer? Create the namelist first, then double click on the namelist you just created, then press "Edit" along the "Names" box, then "add..." works for me..... _________________ -wayne |

I came that far but it doesn't take comma(,) or space between the source queue name and destination queue name in that field. |

Sorry... I never used mirrorQ...does it require a comma in a list item?
If so, thats not allowed in V6 ...
Quote: |
NAMES(name, …)
List of names.
The names can be of any type, but must conform to the rules for naming WebSphere MQ objects, with a maximum length of 48 characters.
An empty list is valid: specify NAMES(). The maximum number of names in the list is 256.

humm...just looking at mirrorq... I see what you're trying to do now... when adding the items to the namelist, don't try adding the comma in the explorer window ... just add the items in the "source queue, target Queue, target Queue Manager" order as three separate items. _________________ -wayne |
