I am thinking of setting up a program to monitor the depth of Workflow exexmlnputq, so that we will know if messages start accummulating, which indicates failure of workflow servers. Since this is the very important queue, I am afraid it would do more harm.
Hence I would like to know:
1. are there any queues which are just a mirror or alias of exexmlnputq? What if I set up the alert against the alias for exexmlnputq? WIll this be any good?
2. Does Workflow use specific queues for specific servers. Say if execution server fails, the messages must be piling up in some Workflow specific queue. right?
I see the following:
FMC.FMCGRP.CLE : Alias Queue for Cleanup Server Input Queue
FMC.FMCGRP.EXE : Alias Queue for Execution Server Input Queue
FMC.FMCGRP.ADM : Alias Queue for Administration Server Input Queue
FMC.FMCGRP.FMCSYS.EXE.XML: Alias Queue for Execution Server XML Input Queue
Is there any use in monitoring these above queues?

There are qui-te a few a--li-ases -for th-e EXEXMLINPUTQ. I don't actually remember the exact local queue name, but monitoring the local queue is the best solution. ----------------

Execution server - EXEXMLINPUTQ
I dont remember the names of the queues for the rest of the server, but each one has a seperate queue. (I dont have WF installed on my machine to check those).
