To my knowlege, remote queue is the reference to the queue located on a different queue manager (via transmit queue), used for sending message from local to remote queue.
Someone asked me, "Is it possible to read message from remote queue?" I never thought about reading from remote queue, and I did not have answer for that. Can anyone tell me that is it possible to read message from it? |

you can not read from a local definition of a remote queue!
of course you can use a mq client, connect to a remote queuemanager and read a local queue (local to that remote queuemanager). _________________ Regards, Butcher |
