1. Has anyone from transport sector making using of MQ Workflow? if so how. I just need a overall picture how you are using the product and not specific detilas ( if it is going to take out your competitive edge ).

Hi anveshita,
If your not an architect or at that kind of level I don't see why u need to worry about the prospects of Workflow in the transport industry...
If you know what the tool can do, then I don't see why u can't put 2 and 2 together
Say suppose the transport company is moving some goods from one location to another, there will be a location-A manager, a supervisor and perhaps some security official...This would be similar on the location-B where the goods are being sent...
So when u move the goods, u need to get the sign-off from each of these guys and once it reaches the destination, the sign-off from those fellows too....This would be a crude and simple implementation in Workflow...If you can use RFID then nothing like it...
The most common one which is used as examples in trainings is leave processing and internal company processes.....

Well..
I am not an architect. We are using the Workflow for simple tasks you have mentioned on some development servers and not for a production use.
I would like to know a real case scenario. Then see how it will fit in our scenario. Any suggestions? |

Why not for production ? These aren't good enough for u
What is your scenario by the way ??
Look around in the client location...wherever u see a lot of papers...there a software solution is applicable
