Hi,
I've currently joined a project whereby there is an issue with the cleanup server. I am not sure whether the cleanup server has ever run but I think not. When the server runs it errors with the following message:
********************
FMC31050E An error has occurred which has terminated processing
FMCSQLException, Sqlcode=0, Sqlerrmc= , Sqlerrp=SQLRI28D, Sqlerrd[0]=0, Sqlerrd[1]=0, Sqlerrd[2]=4, Sqlerrd[3]=0, Sqlerrd[4]=0, Sqlerrd[5]=0, Sqlwarn=W W, Sqlstate=01517
FMC12260E The cleanup server for system group PRD01GRP stopped abnormally.
********************
I've done all of the usual 'google' stuff for Sqlstate 01517 and it seems to point to a character conversion issue.
So the next thing I did was to investigate the codepages and character sets on the prod database.
Low and behold this is what I found:
Database Territory = US
Database Codepage = 923
Database Code Set = ISO885915
The usual code page for enu is 819 with a code set of ISO8859-1.
So my questions are:
1) Can I make the cleanup server run with this code page and codeset?
2) If not I suppose I could make the cleanup of items immediate but that doesn't help historical cleanups.
3) Is there a way of getting work_item and process instance data from one database configured with codepage XXX into a database configured with a different codepage? I've tried and it's really hard. I can do it but it runs like a dog and I've tried re-compiling indexes and all sorts of things but to no avail.
Hopefully someone somewhere will have shared my pain. As I state I can get the transaction data from one database to another but it's pretty unusalble. Any ideas where I should look?
Regards
Tony. |

Thanks for the quick response. I've posted a question to the thread that you identified so hopefully they'll be able to help since it seems like a very similar issue. I'll keep this thread posted with updates. |
