Hi there
I am trying to get a sendmail plugin to work on my windows-based broker. A consultant installed it, and it has no documentation.
The plugin works on one message flow, but not on another (configured identically). As soon as MQ tries to access the plugin on the second message flow it crashes the broker.
Has anyone had any experience with the sendmail plugin ? Or can someone recommend another mail plugin I could use. It would only be used for sending an XML document as an email.
Thanks. |

At one of my previous companies we also had a consultant come in to write a sendmail MQ plugin. However, we weren't using WMQI, just base MQSeries, and I believe he wrote the plugin in Perl. But it was successful, and we never had any problems with it even though it was moving a large volume of emails around... _________________ Brandon Duncan

Are you using the latest support pac version (1.5)? Why not Email the author as he might be able to help - the Email address is on the front page of the documentation PDF (he actually is in IBM Netherlands so you can probably just give him a call).
If you have WMQI 2.1, a plug-in coded in Java would be a good way to implement an SMTP node. However at my site, we have bridged MQSeries to Lotus Notes and send EMail that way. |
