Hi,

I am using mq base java API and I need to set these two fileds to put a message onto a queue

I have trailed the documentation and found that I need to set the MQPutMessageOptions() to
MQC.MQPMO_SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT

But where do I set the fields UserIdentifier and ApplIdentityData?

I set the MQMD in the MQMessage() variables userId and applicationIdData which correspond to the Application Identity Data and User Identifier

The queue also has to be open with the option MQC.MQPOO_SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT

Can any of the experts just confirl this is correct?

It sounds correct. You might need SET_ALL_CONTEXT instead of SET_IDENTITY_CONTEXT, though.

I haven't tried this.
