I have an application on "machine A". The application puts the XML instantaition messge on QM1,Q1.

Q1 is remote on "machine A", local on QM2 on "machine B".

On machine B there is another applicaton that takes the message from Q1/QM2 and puts the message on to Q2/QM2.

Q2 is remote on "machine B" points to local EXEXMLINPUTQ on FMCQM on "machine B".

Now if I specify <iferror> in my instantion XML and specify replytoqm as QM1 and replytoq empty, how will Workflow route the error message? My guess is that I should find this in some dead letter queue. Right? I am unable to find it on QM1, QM2 and FMCQM. Hence would like to know what could have gone wrong

If I want the workflow error message to go to queue "Q3" of "QM3" on Machine B, what do I need to do?

Thanks

Maybe it's not even generating a reply.

If you want to do what you said above
Quote:

stick in replyToQM and ReplyToQM as QM3 Q3 while putting the message in the above app

Thanks

I have verified by putting a message with invalid XML and Workflow is sending the response back. Tis I have tested thru a stand-alone application.

The application on Machine B can not be changed due to our own limitations.
The application on machin A is inhouse developed and can be modified.
Please let me know if there are any alternatives.

I have tested it from "Machine B" and gave the reply queue manager as FMCQM and queue as "Q4". I could see the error message from Workflow on "Q4".

Now when I am trying to test the same scenario form the application running on "Machine A", I am unable to locate the error message.

Also, If I would like to do the following
Quote:

Without changing the application on "Machine B" what do I need to do.

Thanks
