When i try to access 2 databases from compute node, seeing below error.
When we do that, do they need to be of same type?

1 is oracle, 1 is sql server. So, i had to split the compute into two.

i changed procedure definition to

CREATE PROCEDURE storeproctest() DYNAMIC RESULT SETS 1 EXTERNAL NAME "dbo.GetTransactionRecords" ;

then procedure call to

CALL storeproctest ...

I tried this SQL server stored procedure. No parameters required.

with

CREATE PROCEDURE storeproctest() EXTERNAL NAME "dbo.GetTransactionRecords" ;

does your sql work from normal DB2 SQL prompt? did you try debugging that flow. it will give you exact exception which will be helpful in solving your problem. I think your ODBC is fine as your deploy ...

Standalone windows installation:

1)install DB2, it will ask you for user id/password you want to use as part of the installation. choose a userid/password.

r u running V5 version?
first of all try running that exact insert SQL on database using DB2 command line processor or some tool to see if it inserts a row.
