I think there is a flaw in the Shutdown process.Process we follow is
1)Shutdown of fmcamain
2) shutdown of the Application Server
3)Finally stop the MQ Server.
Hope this will resolve the issue.

do check the user id and password in qm.ini file of the QM is same as the unix user id and passwd.
if not change either of these two.

In the WF Client GUI we can create a new WorkItem and in the Filter Tab we can specify the filter condition and it also allow us to sort out workitems.

around 6 months before ,i was able to trace it but they are stored as hexamadecimal.
The process i used is that i took some sample rows from all the table in WF,it is a tiresome work but u kind ... |
