Our messaging team recently upgraded QM to 9.2 on AIX to work with IIBv9.
my assumption is IBM probably provide a customized version . I'll see if I can get some details on that |

I had no trouble creating or stopping any queue manager with the same account either with mq explorer or MQ commands.
