without RP1, my trial to download the fix is rejected,saying that it is restricted to US export laws..
but does this matter?should the error message for not establising a connetion to MQ be 'CCSID ... |

This problem is resolved.It is understood that two Win2K machines that MQ servers are installed have different Locale in the Regional Options .
